My approach integrates a mix of trauma-informed practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies to help you build the skills and insight necessary to move through life’s obstacles with confidence.

About Kristen Silva, LMFT
I believe that personal growth is much like the growth of a tree. Our roots, shaped by childhood and life experiences, form the foundation of who we are. Whether those roots are healthy or strained, they influence how we grow and interact with the world. By understanding and nurturing our roots, we can reshape our branches, thrive, and grow into our most authentic selves.
You feel like life is being turned upside down, and you’re just trying to keep it together on the outside.
Do you ever feel like you're just going through the motions, pushing forward in life but still feeling disconnected or burned out? Maybe you're doomscrolling through social media, people-pleasing to keep the peace—even at the cost of your own well-being—or struggling with perfectionism, constantly doubting yourself when things don’t go as planned?
You find it hard to open up to friends and family about your struggles, feeling like a burden or thinking they’ve already heard your story too many times. As a result, you end up facing everything on your own, in silence.
These behaviors might be tied to unresolved trauma, anxiety, stress, or depression. That’s where I come in! I work with people-pleasers, perfectionists, and those carrying unhealed wounds. Together, we will learn what your boundaries are and work on growing your voice to say “no,” be assertive about your needs, and walk away from people or situations that no longer serve you. I also guide clients in cultivating self-compassion and embracing the different "parts" of themselves—like the "critic," the "perfectionist," or the "caregiver"—so they can integrate these aspects in a healthier way.

I offer a 30 minute free consultation, which we will explore what you are looking for in therapy. This will help both you and me determine if this will be a good fit for your therapy journey.

$145 per 45 minute session (Individual Therapy)
$200 per 45 minute session (Couples Therapy)
