Welcome to Roots of Healing

You Don’t Have to Hustle to Prove You Belong

Heal the root, not just the symptom| Kristen Silva, LMFT| IFS Therapist in California for women and teens facing anxiety, shame, perfectionism, and people-pleasing

You are tired of living by other people’s expectations instead of your own

You give so much to everyone else, but at the end of the day you’re left feeling drained, second-guessing yourself, and wondering if you’re ever “enough.” The voice of self-doubt is loud, and no matter how hard you try, it feels like the pressure never lets up.

You’re not alone—many women feel this pressure. The good news is, it’s possible to create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Imagine noticing the voice of self-doubt without getting pulled into it. Over time, you can respond with curiosity instead of shame, set boundaries without guilt, and move through your day with steadier confidence.

Therapy helps you live from your calm, clear center more often—even when life gets messy..

When we tend to what’s beneath the surface, your life can bloom in ways you never imagined.

I help women navigating anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, and relationship stress reconnect with their inner selves and begin healing from the roots. Through IFS parts work, we gently explore the parts of you that are trying so hard to help—the anxious part that keeps scanning for signs something’s wrong in that relationship, the perfectionist part that pushes you to succeed at all costs, and the shame part that shows up when things don’t go as planned. Together, we help these parts soften so you can feel more grounded, more whole, and more in charge of your life again.

I also support teens who are struggling with anxiety, identity, and social pressure—and parents who feel lost trying to help.

About Kristen Silva, LMFT

I know what it’s like to feel the pressure to hold it all together while struggling underneath. For years I pushed myself to meet everyone’s expectations, believing I had to be perfect in order to be enough. Through my own healing work, I learned how to step out of those cycles—and that’s why I’m so passionate about helping others do the same.

In therapy, I don’t bring my story into your sessions, but I do bring the empathy and understanding that comes from walking that road myself.

Clients often describe me as calm, compassionate, and thoughtful. I’ll support you fully while also inviting you to gently explore different perspectives—so you can honor your own experience while also gaining new insights that may open the door to change.

My goal is that you leave therapy not just coping, but truly healing—so you can feel confident, connected, and rooted in your own worth.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

Clients often tell me they feel truly seen and understood in our work together—like they don’t have to explain or justify their pain. This sense of safety makes it possible for them to open up, often saying, “I’ve never shared this with anyone before.”

My approach is warm and compassionate—and also gently challenging. I’ll help you notice when certain beliefs or behaviors may be pulling you away from the relationships and inner peace you’re working so hard to find. I’ll always hold your story with care and never rush or judge your process.

I blend Internal Family Systems (IFS), humanistic, and attachment-based approaches to help you reconnect with your worth, relate more kindly to yourself, and build relationships rooted in authenticity—not performance.
